This training covers everything you need to know to build a complete Vena application from scratch. It’s designed for admins and experiences key users who want to level up their skills and become confident with building in Vena. The full training takes about 6 days to complete, depending on your experience level. It’s self-explanatory, so you can go through the content when it suits you.

What you’ll learn
We start with data modelling, where you’ll structure dimensions, hierarchies and historical data so your model is ready for planning and reporting. From there we move to reports and input templates – making sure every number flows to the right place and every calculation works as it should.
To make things smarter, you’ll get a first look at scripting. You won’t need to become a developer, but you’ll see how scripts can automate repetitive tasks and calculations.
We’ll also cover the admin side of Vena: setting up users, groups and permissions, and using workflows to coordinate planning or reporting cycles. Finally, we’ll explore integration, showing you how to connect Vena with other applications and automate data flows with batch files.
By the end, you’ll not only understand how Vena works, but you’ll also have working models, templates and workflows that you can use in practice.
How the training works
This is not a classroom course. You’ll work directly in your own Vena tenant, at your own pace, whenever and wherever it suits you. To support you, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions, templates, sample data and documentation. On top of that, you’ll have four one-hour coaching sessions with a Vena expert – time you can use to ask questions, test ideas, and get feedback on your setup.
What you need

Investment
We charge €4,000 for the first participant per organization and €1,500 per person thereafter.
The price of first participant is a combination of €2,500 for the training materials, which is a one-time investment per organization, and €1,500 for four one-on-one coaching sessions with a Vena expert.
