Corporate reporting is at a turning point. With the introduction of IFRS 18, the integration of iXBRL, and increasing ESG requirements, simply "checking the box" is no longer enough. Finance leaders face a choice: treat these shifts as a compliance headache, or seize them as a strategic opportunity.
Join us at The Future of Corporate Reporting on March 24, 2026, to discover how to turn these regulatory changes into a competitive advantage. We move past the theory to focus on execution: building the right data architecture, selecting the best tooling, and delivering a transparent, data-driven story to your stakeholders.
Why You Should Attend
Finance professionals are in the driver's seat of this transition. This event brings together the three critical pillars of modern reporting:
- Insight & Strategy: Learn to use IFRS 18 and ESG not just for reporting, but for steering the business. We will show you how to translate complex regulations into clear KPIs and a powerful management narrative.
- Foundation & Data: A solid report relies on solid data. Discover how to build a future-proof data landscape that handles the granularity of new standards with ease.
- Technology & Efficiency: See how the right tooling enables flawless, efficient reporting—from consolidation to iXBRL tagging.
Breakout session: IFRS 18—From theory to your consolidation system
It's official: IFRS 18 is here. Although the mandatory effective date is January 1, 2027, the impact on your governance and reporting process is already beginning. Most finance professionals now have a good understanding of the new KPI structures. However, the real challenge lies in the technology: how do you translate this into the design of your current EPM environment? In this session, we leave the theoretical frameworks behind and get to work on the "how" question.
What we will cover during this session:
- Parallel reporting: How to set up a chart of accounts that is not only IFRS18 compliant but can also generate the ongoing IAS1 reports for 2026
- The 'Functional' P&L: Practical steps for setting up the profit and loss statement in accordance with the new standard.
- The transition year 2026: How do you bridge the gap (disclosures) between the old and new rules during the transition year?
- System insights: We discuss how these changes are implemented in the most commonly used consolidation tools and what the logical next steps are.
Prefer to focus on your climate strategy?
Parallel to the session on IFRS 18, Kim Schoppink (SBTI) shares insights from more than 10,000 organizations worldwide. Together with Romano Frau (Heuschen & Schrouff) and Nathalie de Vries (Intire), they will present a razor-sharp practical case study: how do you map out a complete CO2 footprint within six months and make climate goals part of your daily practice?
Who Should Attend?
This event is designed for CFOs, Finance Directors, Group Controllers, and Reporting Specialists who are ready to look ahead. Whether you are implementing new standards or optimizing your entire reporting chain, you will find the knowledge and network you need here.
