CCH Tagetik Data Loading Training
A new entity, a changed chart of accounts, a load that fails in the middle of your close. Learn to handle data loading in CCH Tagetik yourself, without waiting for outside help.
Getting the right data into Tagetik is the foundation of every planning, reporting and consolidation process. Yet for many teams, data loading is still a black box that a consultant set up once during implementation. In this full-day training, Sjef van Luijk shows you how to load data with Quick Data Load (QDL) and ETL, and how to set up and change data uploads on your own. It’s an interactive session: you follow along and practise every step yourself in your own Tagetik sandbox environment.
Who should attend
This training is for Tagetik application administrators and key users in finance or finance systems who are responsible for getting data into Tagetik, such as application owners, controllers and functional admins. You already use Tagetik regularly, but you still call in a consultant when an upload needs to change. You don’t need any programming knowledge.
Prerequisites: Admin rights and access to your own Tagetik sandbox environment. You do not need any programming knowledge.
What you’ll be able to do afterwards
- Load data into Tagetik on your own with Quick Data Load
- Set up a new ETL data upload from source to target, including mappings
- Change existing uploads when your data or structure changes
- Know when to use Quick Data Load and when to use ETL
- Find and fix common load errors, such as unmapped or missing dimension members
- Run your data loads more reliably, with less manual work from Excel
